Random Ellie-ness

These are evidences of Ellie's crazy, random self.

Here she is posing with Shawn's hat. She kept stealing it just because he was trying to pack it for his hunt.

For some reason, unknown to us, Ellie loves to make us watch her run up and down the hallway.


I just love the profile of Ellie's face...


She's full of random, silly faces.


She has an obsession with watching movies. AND letting me know that she can do it herself! Her favorites are Shrek 2 and The Incredibles. Should I be concerned?



Sunset Ritual
If you know my dad, you know that he can often be found on the porch in evenings watching the sunset. Now, Ellie has joined him in that enjoyment. She'll always say as we're leaving grandparents house, "i wash the shunshet" (translation: I'm going to watch the sunset). It's so adorable.





Saying Goodbye
We said goodbye to Shawn's second love...well, he did anyway. Ellie and I were in the house when it all happened. He sold his 3 wheeler. It will hold memories of family fun time. Like the time it took me 10 minutes just to get it started only to run into my dad's trailer tail light. (Only minor damage). Or the many times when Ellie would ask daddy for rides on the "choo choo." Or Shawn's impressive tricks, like popping a wheelie. Yes, it will be missed, but on to better things!






Self Family Portraits
There we were, sitting on grandma's porch, enjoying an evening together when I decided to try my skill at self photography. Between concentrating on getting Ellie to smile and remember to smile ourselves, I think I'm ready for the professional world. (Joie, wouldn't you agree?) We're going to be very anxious to show off the new portraits on our wall...(next time we're flying out there for your skills, Joie).
