My Website
So I am finally working on the business I want to run from my home. I have a love of digital scrapbooking and have found a company that teaches you how to build a website that gets traffic. I have been learning for about eight months and am just now starting to actually write the content for my website. I just created my logo/header for my homepage and was wondering if I could get some feedback. After starring at something you're designing for a while, it's hard to see what needs to be improved. Shawn said it 's kinda hard to read, so I'd like to know how many of you thought that too. Please share your thoughts! I love the background! very cute. I like the title, but I sort of agree with your husband. At first glance I loved it, I don't know. I do really like it.

I know exactly what you mean, when you sit there and agonize over the design of something because you want it to be perfect and the longer you look at it the more you find wrong with it! I really love the color scheme and also the background design. I do like the lettering, but I can see what Shawn is saying. Maybe it has to do with the white outline of the boxes getting muttled with the white letters when you are trying to read it. My suggestions would be maybe changing the font or color of the text or perhaps not outlining the boxes and just doing a drop shadow or outlining them in a different way???? I hope this doesn't cause you to throw in the towel. Take my advice for what it's worth. You are more of a designer than I am, so I am sure whatever you decided will be fabulous!
I like it but it makes my eyes go googly after looking at it for a while! But love the type and the colors!

Do you have a MySpace? If so, I have one and my profile pretty much explains what my life has been like since HS. Jaide is my only child, but my boyfriend has 2 kids that visit often from Oregon. My daughter is 4 1/2 and his two are 5 1/2 and almost 7. I was married. Almost divorced (we've been in a custody battle for 3 years). Crazy life! So you're pregnant with your 2nd? Awesome!
